COMPETENCE DAYS AT KERN

Between May 22 and 24, three competence days took place in our facilities at KTS in Slovenia. The occasion was the complete pre-assembly and test of the special trumpet formwork engineered and manufactured for the project Karlsruhe.
The project presents critical aspects in relation to the construction program and conditions. Jobsite is located in Karslruhe city center and the working area is under compressed air. Personnel has limited working hours and the room inside the tunnel does not allow a standard assembly but requires an important planning and work method statement. It has been then decided to pre-assemble completely the tunnel shutter in order to avoid any issue during the jobsite operations. The machines will be delivered partially pre-assembled with special trucks to reduce the assembly time on site. It was performed the machine inspection and test together with BeMo Tunnelling GmbH and the final client.
Furthermore, several other customers and partners have been able to visit KERN to review directly the technology and innovation that we developed over the last few years.
