First pour at Tunnel Ruckhalde in St.Gallen

It has been performed the first secondary lining block at the Ruckhalde Tunnel 350m long in St.Gallen.
The advancement of the Formwork system is performed by special drive units with a jacking system to comply with the high inclination of the tunnel of the 8%.
Given this inclination and the concrete pressure acting on the stop-end, Kern Tunneltechnik developed a solution to hold the complete machine in position during the pour phase.

Kern Tunneltechnik supplied also the Reinforcement Gantry, the Gitterbogen (reinforcement structures) and the complete labour for the secondary lining works.
