Kappeschalung - Last Block

We are glad to announce that in October 2022 the casting of the largest block in the enlargement section of the Vispertal tunnel has been successfully completed.  The formwork in this configuration spans over 21.5m and has to support over 285m³ of concrete. The modular structure of the formwork together with the carriers enables to convert the system to the geometry of each of the multiple blocks in a short time.

Development, delivery and on-site works have been performed by the KERN Tunneltechnik Group.
